Hello Warren,

I wanted to thank you for our accommodations at The Abbey Manor Inn. (I really do like the new name better than the old one.) We had a superb time in Kingston and you had a great deal to do with that. The breakfasts were fabulous and your input early in the morning (yes 9:30 is early when on holidays!!) set the tone for the day.

You provided us with a very warm welcome when we arrived and that warmth and caring was evident throughout our stay. My room was very comfortable and I enjoyed your sense of humour. You are going a great job with your renovations. I'd like to see the end result. It is evident you really enjoy running the Inn!!!

Each time we came back to the Inn, we all commented we felt like we were coming home.

When in Kingston again, I plan to stay at The Abbey Manor Inn and I will recommend it to others.

Thank you,
Margie Warren

Having spent a weekend at The Secret Garden Inn earlier in the month, we tried to book a room there on a trip back from Ottawa. When they were fully booked, Gary and Warren offered us a room at their other inn, The Abbey Manor Inn.

It met the same high standards for comfort and hospitality - so we enjoyed our second wonderful weekend in Kingston with Warren as our host.

The Inn is extremely clean, beautifully furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The service is friendly and they've covered all the extras - such as conveniently located refrigerators for beverages, glasses, corkscrews. The breakfast is to die for!

Its location is close to downtown and close to the campus - and quiet.

You can't go wrong with either inn, we'll be back and recommend it highly!

Took a chance, and loved it. New owners are making this less floral, more historical/chic.

The building is fantastic, and the location is perfect - easy walk to the heart of downtown Kingston, Queens U, and waterfront. Parking available on-site, no problems there. We asked for and got a slightly early check-in, with absolutely no attitude.

Beds were new and super comfortable. Furnishings in rooms are beautiful antiques, but in great shape and comfortable. With the updated decor, it's beautiful. Small details — like pre-programmed phones for local calls, and loaner umbrellas at the front door abound.

Breakfast was incredible…great coffee, tea, and a gourmet breakfast that was more than enough to tide us over to the afternoon.

The owners are gracious and friendly and made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. This just made a fantastic stay even more memorable.
